IoT-Based EV Charge Prioritizing System for PV-Powered Smart Buildings

In this research, an Internet of things-based electric vehicle charging priority system for photovoltaic-powered smart buildings is described. There are three different types of charging choices available through this system: Grid to vehicle (G2V), building to vehicle (B2V), and vehicle to vehicle (V2V). In order to provide consumers with the ability to select charging slots based on real-time recommendations, a new algorithm has been developed that examines the state of charge (SoC) and the proximity to charging stations. The grid self-consumption is optimized, the carbon footprint is reduced, and a user-friendly interface is provided for increasing the efficiency and priority of electric vehicle charging.
