Influence of Geometrical Parameters of Thermoelectric Arm on Lifetime and Performance Degradation of Thermoelectric Device
摘要
Thermoelectric devices are widely used in the thermal management of electronic devices, deep space exploration, biomedicine, etc., but such occasions are often in the thermal cycle condition, which will cause structural damage and significant performance decline, and make the whole device fail. In this paper, a performance degradation and life prediction model of thermoelectric devices is proposed. The accuracy is verified by existing experimental studies, and the model is used to study the influence of thermoelectric arm geometric parameters on device lifetime. Put length of the thermoelectric arm 0.5 mm as the basic, when the length of the thermoelectric arm increased by 100%, the life will increase 24.8%. The influence of thermoelectric arm shape factor on the life is weak. This paper can provide further guidance for the optimal design of thermoelectric devices, and has positive significance for improving the reliability of thermoelectric devices during use and the promotion of thermoelectric devices.
