The Influence of Underground Space Lighting Environment on Subjective Perception Based on Grey Relational Analysis

The illumination environment is crucial for enhancing comfort and safety in underground spaces. Establishing the relationship between illumination environment evaluation indicators and subjective experiences is the core foundation for optimizing the lighting environment. Taking the underground shopping mall in Yangjiaping, Chongqing, as a case study, this research divided the shopping center into 15 measurement areas. It utilized a luxmeter with a four-corner point measurement method to obtain illumination environment indicators for each area. Subsequently, questionnaire surveys were conducted in each area to collect subjective perception data from individuals within each region. By employing the entropy weight method to assign weights to subjective perception questionnaire data, and then using linear weighted combination to construct the subjective perception evaluation function, the subjective experiences are quantified. Subsequently, a grey relational analysis was conducted on the underground space lighting environment indicators and quantified subjective perceptions. This aimed to ascertain the degree of correlation and the primary secondary relationship between the lighting environment and subjective perceptions.
