Review of Landscape Design Methods with Low Environmental Impact

In the context of ecological civilization, low environmental impact design emphasizes low cost, high efficiency and whole process sustainability. This paper analyzes the origin and evolution process of the concept connotation of low environmental impact design and compares the concept of low environmental impact with the concept of low impact development through relevant literature research, so as to further understand the concept of low environmental impact. The research method is based on Cite Space to conduct in-depth research in the field of low-environmental impact landscape design, focusing on the utilization methods of low-environmental impact urban land development, spatial planning and design, emerging material technology, stormwater management technology, and environmental assessment system. The results show that low environmental impact needs to pay attention to the whole process of landscape design, analyze the data of landscape design through all elements, and predict the direction of landscape design. The purpose of the study is to form a theoretical system of low environmental impact and develop a low impact design method response.
