Evaluation of Shallow Geothermal Energy Resource Utilization Potential and Plot Classification for Low-carbon Campuses

摘要

Under the national strategy of “3060 Double Carbon Goal” and the policy background of Energy Saving and Emission Reduction of public institutions, the construction of low-carbon campus is imperative. Shallow geothermal energy is stable, widely distributed and environmentally friendly. Combined with the campus environment, which has a lot of greenfield and small mountains, as well as many types and volumes of campus buildings, the development and utilization of shallow geothermal energy on campus will realize the win–win situation of making the best use of what we have and energy saving and emission reduction. To develop shallow geothermal on campus, it is necessary to solve the three core problems of shallow geothermal energy utilization potential how much, where to use and how to use. This paper takes an existing university in Chongqing as an example, explores the first two problems, proposes the evaluation factors of shallow geothermal energy utilization potential in the campus environment and the grading evaluation method of geothermal energy utilization potential of different sites, the proposed method for obtaining the utilization potential of shallow geothermal energy in the campus is plot division-plot rating-plot grading-calculation of classification. Obtains the results of the utilization potential of different types plots of shallow geothermal energy in existing campuses, which can provide reference for the utilization of shallow geothermal energy in similar existing campuses.
