Hepatic Procedures
摘要
Liver resection is the cornerstone for curative-intent treatment for most primary and secondary liver tumors. Technical proficiency of the practicing surgeon is one of the most important key factors to perform safe liver resections. Furthermore, adequate exposure, intraoperative ultrasound, and a mastery of liver anatomy are critical for ensuring safe liver surgery. In this chapter, we provide an illustrative demonstration of the different surgical techniques applied in liver surgery while highlighting the important anatomical landmarks that guide liver resection.
