Minimally Invasive Inguinal Hernia Repair: TAPP, TEP, and eTEP Approaches
摘要
Inguinal hernias are a common surgical problem worldwide. While inguinal hernias may be repaired by a variety of laparoscopic, and robotic techniques, ultimately, the safest operation is the operation in which surgeon has the most experience and comfort. This chapter will review our technique for a minimally invasive inguinal hernia repair via transabdominal preperitonteal (TAPP), totally extraperitoneal (TEP) and extended totally extraperitoneal (eTEP) approaches and the important differences between them.
