Radiofrequency Ablation of Thyroid Nodules

Thyroid nodules are common in the general population and can cause symptoms in some patients. Surgical resection is the current standard of care, but radiofrequency ablation has become more popular. The indications, pre-operative considerations, procedural principles, and postoperative care are discussed.
