Laparoscopic Assisted Robotic Sleeve Gastrectomy, Laparoscopic Assisted Robotic Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass
摘要
Bariatric surgery has been shown to be the most effective and durable treatment of obesity and obesity related diseases. The mechanism of weight loss after bariatric surgery is multifactorial and includes restriction, malabsorption, and alterations in gut hormone signaling via altered gastrointestinal anatomy. This chapter describes the two most common bariatric surgeries: robotic assisted laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy and Roux-en-Y gastric bypass.
