Minimally Invasive Anti-Reflux Surgery

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a common illness. Established treatment options are lifestyle modifications, medications and anti-reflux surgery (ARS). In this chapter we present the definition of GERD, a basic diagnostic algorithm, indication for ARS and details of the common surgical techniques in use.
