Distribution of Prime Numbers

After establishing Chebyshev’s theorem, Euler summation formula and Mertens’ theorem, there is description of the use of Dirichlet characters to isolate members of an arithmetic progression from other integers. The chapter includes material on Dirichlet series, the Riemann zeta-function, Poisson summation, the Mellin transform and Perron’s formula.
