Climatic and Vegetation Zonation of the World’s Smallest Economies

  • Aneta A. Teperek

摘要

Chapter 4 describes a key element of physical geography, climate, which is closely related to location. The world’s smallest economies have been categorized according to climate zones and climate types, facilitating the characterization of their climatic conditions, which influence the development of agriculture, tourism, construction, and transportation services. The ability of these economies to produce goods and services is one of the major determinants of their economic growth and development. Identifying the natural vegetation formations of the countries under analysis allowed for the selection of those with the highest percentage of forest areas. Forests, in turn, serve as crucial economic building blocks for the growth and development of the world’s smallest economies.
