Population Distribution in the World’s Smallest Economies
摘要
Chapter 10 describes the population distribution of the world’s smallest economies in 2019. The analysis is conducted for the group in comparison with selected continents, organizations and countries with large populations, and then for each of the 93 countries. From the group’s perspective, the proportion of the population residing in the world’s smallest economies, characterized by low, lower-middle, upper-middle, and high levels of economic development, was determined. Furthermore, the urbanization rate was examined in light of the correlation between the proportion of the population residing in urban areas and the level of economic development of countries.
