Critical Analysis of the Efficacy of Servant Leadership and Its Relation to Job Satisfaction and Leader Member Exchange Model (LMX)—A Case Study of Private Higher Education Sector in Kuwait

The practice of servant leadership has given rise to a leadership revolution, and those who practice it are a revolutionary group who have exploited and completely flipped upside down the traditional power of leadership. Servant leadership aggressively creates and aligns an employee's feeling of purpose with the organization's goal, going beyond transactional management. This research investigates and examines the efficacy of servant Leadership and Its relation to job satisfaction and leader member exchange model among employees in Kuwait's private universities by conducting a closed-ended survey, which was administered to 240 employees from personnel in Kuwait's two private higher education institutions. For data analysis, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), reliability test, and person correlation have been used to explore the relationship between the variables. The results revealed that there was significant positive correlation between servant leadership dimensions and job satisfaction, likewise servant leadership dimensions and LMX among employees.
