Biomedical Applications of Green Nanotechnology: Challenges and Perspectives

The goal of green nanotechnology is to produce and utilize nanomaterials in a sustainable manner for the benefit of human civilization. This is a novel method for managing several biomedical objectives. Green metal nanoparticles have been successfully synthesized using a variety of microbes and plant extracts. Thus, green synthesis of nanoparticles is the most practical, easy, and ecologically friendly method. It also reduces the negative consequences of physical and chemical procedures by eliminating the use of hazardous substances and the production of toxic or harmful by-products. In relation to its uses in the realm of biomedical engineering and the advancement of scientific and technological knowledge, this chapter examines the objectives of green nanotechnology.
