摘要

In this chapter, we take a look at three different classes of operator algebras. The first, semicrossed products, are the analogue of C*-crossed products, except the action comes from a semigroup and the algebra formed is nonself-adjoint. In this chapter, we only consider actions of \({\mathbb {Z}}_+\) .
