摘要

Household distributional accounts are an extension of the accounts of the household sector. Indeed, they show how economic transactions in the household sector are distributed among specific groups of households, identified on the basis of social, demographic, or economic characteristics. As a result, distributional accounts make it possible to analyze inequalities from income to consumption and saving, within the framework of national accounts. Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, has been involved for many years in promoting the development of household distributional accounts in the European countries. This contribution aims to provide information on the main challenges faced and the results achieved so far.
