摘要

In this article, we present a method for creating wearable metamaterials by introducing various frequency selective surface (FSS) textile absorbers. These absorbers consist of a fabric with different patterns, a conductive layer as the background plate, and a textile substrate. To determine the most effective substrate, we examined its impact on the parameters and absorption. Once the optimal substrate was identified, we evaluated the influence of different patch shapes on the performance of the wearable material. Our findings revealed that a fabric composed of 65% polyester and 35% cotton produced the best results, with cross-shaped patches being the most effective. The developed FSS can be incorporated into textile designs to protect the human body from microwave radiation emission. Therefore, it is crucial to analyze the substrate's resistance to ensure the production of a durable and comfortable textured fabric.
