Liquid Spreading Management and Breathability of a Double Face and Simple Face Denim Fabric

Denim fabrics are widely used as the most popular fabric. Comfort is a crucial factor, and breathability and moisture management play a significant role in determining a fabric's level of comfort. This study aimed to determine the breathability of three different DENIM weaving structures in terms of water vapor and air permeability, as well as their moisture management properties. Moisture management properties of a simple face, as a reference fabric, were compared to double-faced denim fabrics. The findings indicate that double-face DENIM has superior overall moisture management and better breathability when compared to simple DENIM.
