Characterization of Chicken White Eggshells for Possible Textile Applications
摘要
Characterization of unboiled white chicken eggshells was done in this work. The eggshell powder FTIR spectroscopy indicated the presence of carbonate calcium and function groups that allow this waste to be used in several application in textile. XRF results showed that the studied raw eggshell contains mainly 94.25% CaCO3 and 2.8% MgO. The eggshells turned out as a potential source of raw material for various sectors.
