Good Governance to Mitigate the Manipulation of Sport

As shown throughout this book, manipulation of sport comes in various forms, shapes, and sizes. However, there is often a lack of accountability that sits at the core of how and why the particular manipulation happened. This is what brings us to the governance of sport organisations—the way decision-making occurs and is held to account with regards to the business of running sport—and how that affects why, how, and in what way manipulation happens in sport.
