“Helplines” Instead of “Hotlines”. Perspectives for Whistleblowing Policies Against the Manipulation of Sports Competitions
摘要
Whistleblowing systems are a key element of the compliance framework set up by sport organisations to prevent, detect and sanction the manipulation of sports competitions, as well as other forms of wrongdoing in sport. Also called “reporting mechanisms” (this chapter uses both terms as synonyms), they allow stakeholders to inform relevant organisations about any knowledge, or suspicion, of potential infringements of applicable regulation.
