Sustainable Artificial Intelligence Techniques to Predict the Effect of Circadian Rhythms to Improve Socio Economic Well-Being of Farmers by Enhancing Crop Yields
摘要
Circadian rhythms are physical, mental, and behavioral changes that follow a roughly 24-h cycle, responding primarily to light and darkness in an organism's environment. These rhythms are present in most living things, including animals, plants, and even some bacteria. The circadian rhythms in plants can be entrained by environmental cues such as light and temperature, allowing plants to adjust their physiological processes to changes in the day-night cycle. The exposure to light during the night can reset the circadian clock and cause changes in gene expression and physiological responses. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used in recent years to predict crop yields based on various factors, including weather patterns, soil quality, and plant genetics. In the case of circadian rhythms, AI can be used to analyze the complex data involved in measuring and predicting plant responses to these rhythms. The combination of predictive modeling, bioinformatics tools, optimal lighting regimes, and precision farming can result in good yields. This article presents different ways to manipulate the circadian rhythms of plants that lead to significant improvements in crop yield. The proposed techniques help adopt appropriate methods to regulate the circadian cycle, resulting in improved crop yields, and thereby the socio-economic condition of farmers can be enhanced.
