摘要

The objective of this study is to provide a descriptive examination of the function of artificial intelligence in the healthcare sector. Artificial intelligence has had a significant impact on this particular domain. The healthcare industry has seen a significant shift in its approach, mostly driven by the growing accessibility of healthcare data and the quick advancements in analytics technology. The current research is characterized by its descriptive nature. The data collection process included the use of a convenience sampling approach to gather information from a sample of 160 physicians located in Bangalore city. A structured questionnaire was employed as the primary research instrument. The research was done from January to June 2023, and data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics. Finally, the study concludes that the use of artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to result in reduced costs in basic healthcare facilities, hence increasing accessibility for individuals to afford essential healthcare services. The use of artificial intelligence (AI) has significant potential in addressing the rising prevalence of communicable and non-communicable illnesses, as well as the emergence of novel viral infections.
