Introduction to Team Coaching
摘要
The International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the largest professional coaching organization in the world. The ICF was founded in 1995 as a non-profit organization for coaches to support each other and grow the coaching profession. By 2024, it had grown to more than 58,000 members and over 50,000 credential-holders in 146 countries and territories worldwide. During its existence, the ICF has developed and revised a competency framework to support coach development and assessment. The ICF Coaching Core Competency model includes eight core competencies within four domains. In response to the growing discipline of team coaching and its increasing importance in organizations, including private companies, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations, in 2020 ICF Credentials and Standards developed the ICF Team Coaching Competency model.
