摘要

The indoor environmental quality (IEQ) has a significant impact on people’s health and therefore deserves a detailed research to provide effective information technology (IT) support for IEQ control and management. Existing IEQ research includes different aspects of indoor air quality (IAQ), outdoor meteorology and air quality, as well as building characteristics and IT solutions used to measure different pollutants indoor and outdoor. Due to IEQ domain covers such different directions, an integrated and specialized view is necessary to support domain understanding and IT solutions development. The goal of our research is to develop a comprehensive view in IEQ domain based on studying of scientific papers and various regulations related to IAQ and IEQ as well as evaluating technical solutions used in these research studies, by collecting the used concepts. The IEQ domain concepts are described regarding following categories: Indoor Environment Quality Measurements, External Environment Impact, Building Characteristics, Sensors and Measuring Process, Pollutants, Management Aspects. Based on these concepts found during the studies we developed a number of conceptual models.
