Forced Vibration of a System with Multi-Degree of Freedom

This chapter presents forced vibrations of a system with multi-degree of freedom. An elastic system with concentrated (lumped) masses acting on vibrational forces is considered. Bending moments, shear, and longitudinal forces that vary over time when a harmonic vibrational load on an elastic system with many degrees of freedom is discussed. The chapter includes extensive practical examples and problems with solutions.
