摘要

Optical coherence tomographyOptical coherence tomography (OCT) has revolutionized the field of ophthalmology, providing noninvasive, high-resolution imaging of the retinal layers. In recent years, use of OCT in the operating room, or intraoperative OCTIntraoperative OCT (iOCT), has emerged as a valuable tool in retinal surgery, enabling real-time visualization and guidance during surgical procedures. This chapter explores the principles, applications, and benefits of iOCT in various retinal surgeries. Different cases are used as examples to discuss the impact of iOCT on intraoperative visualization and surgical decision-making. Additionally, the chapter addresses the current challenges and future directions for the integration of iOCT into routine retinal surgical practice.
