Laparoscopic Ventral Rectopexy

Laparoscopic ventral rectopexy is a safe and effective procedure for the treatment of internal and external rectal prolapse. It is an easily reproducible procedure and can be taught in distinct modules. There is a significant learning curve, but preceptorship/ mentoring makes the adoption of the procedure safer.
