Thinking About Ethnic Minority’s Rural Festival Cultural Tourism: A Case of Guangxi, China
摘要
Ethnic festivals embody the core culture of each ethnic minority. Due to differences in regions and ways of life, each ethnic minority group has its own unique festivals. Among the ethnic minority groups who have been living in Guangxi for generations, there are many festivals such as the Sanyuesan Festival of the Zhuangs, Hat Festival of the Jings, Panwang Festival and Zhuzhu Festival of the Yaos, and the Yifan Festival of the Mulaos, which often attract tourists from all over the world. These unique festivals can better integrate the cultural resources of the ethnic minority groups because they are linked closely to local traditions. They combine ethnic minority cultural heritage bases with ethnic minority cultural tourism. Digging deep into the cultural connotation of each ethnic minority group will help to improve the quality of rural tourism, starting from the following aspects: employing “living inheritance” to protect and develop minority festivals; secondly, promoting the overall development of the ethnic cultural ecological space; Thirdly, strengthening the training of national cultural inheritors. Fourth, absorbing some modern elements with an open mind, so that tradition and modernity can complement each other.
