摘要

This article presents research on Bill of Lading (B/L) Operations within CMA CGM GBSI, offering a comprehensive overview of B/L-related processes and activities. Data for this study were collected from 144 members of CMA CGM GBSI's export documentation staff through a disseminated questionnaire. These staff members are employed by various nations across Asia, America, and Europe. The study explores the application of blockchain technology to streamline bill-generating software and reduce reliance on human labor. It adopts an exploratory and qualitative approach, seeking to enhance understanding rather than provide conclusive evidence. Purposive sampling was employed, gathering data only from samples directly contributing to the study's objectives. The study reveals variations in the development of the bill of lading among clusters, with each nation within a cluster desiring different types of information to formulate the law.
