摘要

The COVID-19 pandemic led to increase demand for bandwidth usage from the USA, Europe, and Asia to Indonesia and vice versa. The increase was due to the government’s policy of imposing the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. Work from Home, School from Home, and the use of e-commerce were inevitable due to the PSBB. This condition built a digital ecosystem which directly or indirectly became a digital lifestyle that affects the patterns of human interactions.  This case examines how Telin developed various strategic innovations in order to face global competition. Telin had several major accomplishments to its credit during 2022. Telin USA saw substantial growth in hyperscaler revenue compared to the previous year, Telin Singapore experienced notable expansion in data services revenue, and Telin Hong Kong achieved positive revenue growth despite facing challenging conditions. Telin Taiwan effectively increased its retail revenue, with Digital Retail Products (including Nusantara Card, Fascon, and Grapari Global) playing a significant role. Additionally, Telin Malaysia saw robust growth in Wholesale Data revenue, and Telin Australia successfully adjusted its business strategy to focus on wholesale carrier services and enterprise telecommunications.
