Generating Photon Pairs in a Hybrid Si-BTO Platform
摘要
Here we show photon pair generation in a hybrid Si-BaTiO3 (Si-BTO) on insulator platform. Analysis of photon generation rates show that SFWM is comparable to SOI devices of similar characteristics with a γeff of (14.7 ± 1.3) and (2.0 ± 0.3) MHz/mW2 for ring resonator and waveguide structures respectively.
