AML in Distinct Age-Defined Populations of Infants, Adolescents and Young Adults

This chapter provides an in-depth discussion of de novo acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in children less than 3 years of age, and in adolescents and young adults. The efforts and contributions of each of the major collaborative AML study groups are included and state-of-the art prognostic factors for guiding treatment decisions are reviewed.
