Classification of Neoplastic Breast Diseases: Notes on Surgical and Therapeutic Treatments

This chapter deals with the classification of breast cancer (BC), in a histopathological sense, with staging and in a clinical sense; the molecular classification and subdivision into subtypes are also mentioned. The surgical procedure, therapeutic treatment and radiotherapy RT are briefly illustrated. A list of side effects, in particular from RT, is given, because they can affect the production of a high-quality mammogram.
