Procedure Prior to Performing Mammography
摘要
This chapter is devoted to the collection of the patient’s historical data prior to the performance of the mammographic examination, as well as observing the patient, and what should then be reported to the reader regarding the presence of skin lesions or excoriations of the Nipple Areolar Complex (NAC), for example. A paragraph is dedicated to skin tears in the inframammary fold (IMF). It is an important procedure that mammographers must be familiar with, as she/he may be the only health professional the patient encounters when performing the standard examination.
