Wounds of the Face
摘要
Facial wounds are common injuries. They should be managed adequately to obtain satisfactory functional and cosmetic results. The ER physician should, first of all, check the integrity of the underlying anatomical structures: facial nerve, parotid or salivary duct, naso-lacrimal duct, eyelid muscles, etc. The management of these structures’ injuries should be done by the corresponding specialist. This chapter intends to discuss only the facial “simple” wounds of the skin and mucosae.
