Fractures of the Foot

Fractures of the foot consist of fractures of the hindfoot (including the talus, the calcaneus, the tarsal navicular bone, the cuboid, and the cuneiform bones), and fractures of the forefoot (including the metatarsal bones and the phalanges). The diagnosis may be obvious on the initial standard radiographs or more difficult needing a complementary CT scan for confirmation and surgical planning.
