Hip Trauma
摘要
This chapter covers the different hip injuries such as acetabular fractures, hip dislocations, fractures of the proximal femur, and assessment of post-traumatic symptomatic hip with “normal radiographs.” Accurate radiographic assessment with 2D and 3D CT scan are essential for diagnosis. These lesions may be isolated or associated to other fractures or injuries, particularly in polytrauma patients where a multidisciplinary team approach is required (involving teams from different specialties such as anesthesia, reanimation, ortho-trauma, urology, general surgery, neurosurgery, etc.).
