Pain Control for Patients with Limb Injury in Emergency Settings

The pain control for limbs injuries involves a wide variety of scenarios related to many factors, such as the diversity of the injuries, the heterogeneous types of the patients (age, previous general condition), the context of initiation of the primary management (on the field or in the emergency department), and the qualifications and the habits of the different interveners and protagonists. This chapter highlights the pain control methods in emergency setting.
