Forearm Fractures
摘要
Radius and ulna fractures are common injury induced by either direct or indirect trauma. Fracture line is located in the part of the shaft between the bicipital tuberosity of the proximal radius and 4 cm above the radio-carpal joint line (wrist joint line). Beyond these two limits, they are considered as elbow fractures and wrist fractures, respectively. Forearm fractures are categorized into: isolated fracture of one bone; fracture of both bone; Monteggia lesion; and Galeazzi lesion. Surgical treatment is the gold standard for displaced fractures in adult.
