Sternoclavicular Dislocations

Sternoclavicular dislocations are rare injuries. They usually occur after high-energy trauma and are more frequent in road traffic than in sports accidents. The direction of displacement of the medial end of the clavicle defines two types of dislocations: anterior and posterior. CT scan is the most accurate diagnostic tool.
