The lower eyelid and cheeks comprise the midface that is a source of many signs of aging or otherwise unsatisfactory aesthetic facial appearance. A midface liftMidface lift addresses many variables including loose skin, orbital fat herniation, and prominent inferior rim grooves. A midface liftMidface lift can be useful in reconstructive contexts as well, especially in cases where lower eyelid support is needed. In this chapter, the authors describe an external midface lift surgery approach.
