Upper Blepharoplasty in East Asian Patients
摘要
Upper blepharoplasty in AsianEast Asians patients is unique, owing to differences in anatomy and goals. A desired surgical outcome may be a higher crease or “double eyelid” but this should not be confounded with a Western or Caucasian eyelid. Special care must be taken for surgical planning that is individualized to each patient’s eyelid anatomy and objectives. This chapter describes Asian eyelid anatomy, surgical techniques, and the pearls for a successful Asian blepharoplasty.
