摘要

Like most other disciplines, criminology is constantly evolving, and occasionally, breakthroughs are made that enrich our existing knowledge and even lead to significant changes. In recent years, many researchers have been focusing on subjective and individualist approaches in the spirit of cultural criminology (Ferrell, 1999) and on promoting a healthier and more adaptive worldview among rehabilitating offenders in the spirit of positive criminology (Ronel & Elisha, 2022). These approaches have been complemented in recent years by views focusing on the spiritual and religious aspects of human beings, which have resurged after being pushed to the margins of criminology with the rise of the scientific approach in the nineteenth century. Central to this book, this process, whose impact is evident in the entire world, combines a variety of religious and spiritual approaches, including Judaism.
