Content automation technologies are not only related to artificial intelligence or machine learning, or to the distribution of content, but also related much further to the organization and layout of that content, as well as to the flow and processing of information. Digital media resort to content management platforms and to the modification of these platforms to adapt them to their aesthetic and editorial needs in the journalistic industry. This chapter focuses on content management platforms and the development of automation for the publication and dissemination of news and journalistic products developed in media laboratories and with the participation of technology-based communities, such as Hacks/Hackers.
