Construction of College Students’ Mental Health Evaluation System Based on Cluster Analysis Algorithm

With the issues such as academic pressure, career prospects, and interpersonal relationships among college students have become one of the main challenges to their mental health. How comprehensive evaluation system of college students’ psychological Health assessment has become one of the important topics of education. Based on clustering analysis algorithm, this paper establishes a Health assessment evaluation, in order to provide a more scientific and rigorous health education. The article first discusses the basic principles and application fields of clustering analysis algorithms. Clustering analysis algorithm is a Unsupervised learning method that groups similar data in a dataset. It can divide a set of data into several categories based on similarity, and then analyze and process the grouping results according to specific problem requirements. In the field of mental health, clustering analysis algorithm can be applied to the construction assessment evaluation system. Then, the paper elaborates on the screening of college students’ psychological Health assessment indicators and the construction of the evaluation system. The article selects eight indicators including social ability, psychological regulation, emotional experience, self-awareness, interpersonal relationships, coping ability, achievement experience, self-esteem and confidence, and obtains specific factors under each indicator through actual investigation. Subsequently, cluster analysis algorithm was used to group the obtained factors and ultimately obtain different types models. According to the characteristics of different models, targeted mental health intervention plans and measures can be formulated. Finally, the paper points out the significance and practical significance of applying the psychological Health assessment evaluation system.
