Application of Virtual Reality Technology and Immersive Experiential Learning Mode in Vascular Surgery Nursing Practice Teaching

Application of virtual reality technology and immersive experiential learning mode in vascular surgery nursing practice teaching. The purpose of this study was to explore the application of virtual reality technology and immersive experiential learning mode in vascular surgery nursing practice teaching, and explore its application in nurses’ daily work. The study was conducted with a sample of 60 students from a private university hospital whose curriculum was based on the undergraduate level nursing practitioner (NP) curriculum. Participants used convenient sampling method for selection. Nursing students who passed the interview and written examination of our hospital’s nursing department from July 2018 to April 2019 and were assigned to vascular surgery practice were selected as research objects. According to the random number table, the nursing students were divided into 71 in the control group and 80 in the test group. The control group used the conventional mode of teaching, and the test group used VR + immersive experiential learning mode of teaching. The theoretical knowledge, operating skills and teaching satisfaction of the two groups of nursing students were compared.
