Research on the Construction of Computer Technology in English Translation Simulation Training Class

Translation is generally regarded as a compulsory course for English majors, but it is hardly considered in the process of English teaching in senior high schools. The current national high school English curriculum standards have clear requirements for high school students’ translation ability. Through years of English teaching in senior high schools, the author has realized that it is necessary to introduce translation teaching into senior high school English classes, which will help improve English teaching effect and lay a good foundation for students’ future development. The use of computers in the 21st century has become a necessity for everyone. Computers have changed our lives in many ways. They are not only limited to the field of work, but also to personal life. In this era, from shopping to paying bills, from writing articles to watching movies, even playing games, almost everything uses computers. It has become a part of our daily life. We can’t imagine life without them. However, it is not always easy for non-technical personnel to understand computers, especially when they need to translate into another language. With the continuous application of computer technology in college education, great reforms and changes have taken place in college education. This also better improves the quality of teaching. This article analyzes the current situation of English translation teaching and the application of computer multimedia in English translation teaching. It also explains the application of computer online translation platform in English translation training platform. It mainly studies the design of computer translation platform.
