Research on the Application of Computer Aided Translation in EST

This paper aims to introduce the application of computer-aided translation software in EST translation. At present, most scientific and technological academic works, papers and materials are written in English. To master these knowledge, translation is required. At the number of these documents, people put forward higher requirements for scientific and Technological English translation, which requires both accuracy and timeliness of translation. In this case, the can no longer meet people’s growing demand for translation. 50. A. kondrakov á et al. (2004) published the first study translation in EST, which is part of the project “computer-aided translation of European legal texts”. The purpose of the project is to develop a tool for computer-aided translation of legal texts as an alternative to the traditional Czech translation method. This tool will help translators translate their works more efficiently and accurately, especially when they do not have enough time or foreign language knowledge.
